Job Summary
Echocardiography Technician (PRN/Per Diem – Rotating Shifts)
Position Summary
Pediatric & Neonatal Experience Preferred
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echocardiography Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. This role is responsible for performing high-quality echocardiographic studies across a variety of modalities—including standard ECHO, M-mode, 2D imaging, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, and Stress ECHO—and for assisting Cardiologists in the diagnostic process. The ideal candidate brings strong pediatric and/or neonatal imaging experience and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Schedule, prepare, and position patients—ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.
- Capture, analyze, and report high-quality diagnostic images for Cardiologist interpretation.
- Recognize and document cardiac abnormalities during imaging with accuracy and clinical proficiency.
- Provide excellent patient and family support, demonstrating strong customer service skills.
- Collaborate effectively with Cardiologists, nursing staff, and fellow technologists.
Education
- Graduate of an approved ARDMS-accredited program.
- Pediatric, NICU, or neonatal echocardiography experience required.
- Prior experience performing echocardiographic studies under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist
- 1 Year experience
- Echocardiographic Technician Certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer).
