What You'll Do
Your responsibilities may include:
- Develops, schedules and provides orientation training for all new staff members, completes the orientation check-list, and ensures training information is entered into the training data base.
- Ensures that all staff training files are maintained in accordance with the requirements of licensing/regulatory agencies.
- Develops and implements new staff orientation training and professional certification training plans for staff members.
- Develops and delivers pertinent and required on-going training programs for the program/facility and assists with other regional training related initiatives.
- Monitors all staff training hours to ensure compliance with mandated standards.
- Coordinates in-service and out-service training for staff members.
- Develops and implements training activities for new programs/facilities under the direction of appropriate senior management.
- Coordinates training activities with the State trainers for those programs/facilities that operate under State contracts.
- Attends staff meetings and conferences.
- Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the seven principles of care.
- Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field and minimum two years related experience in juvenile field OR Master's degree in related field and minimum one year related experience in juvenile field
- Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Valid unrestricted driver's license.
- Valid insured registered vehicle
- Criminal clearances (specific State clearances and FBI)
