As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
- Supporting daily living skills and independence
- Assisting with appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
- Following individualized support plans and goals
- Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care

- Must be at least 20 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification if not currently certified
- Ability to pass:
- State and Federal criminal background checks
- Drug screening
- Pre-employment physical and PPD
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, healthcare, or a related field
- Additional education in human services, healthcare, education, or a related discipline
