Part Time Machine Shop Assistant
$19.00 Per Hour
2nd Shift - 20-25 hours per week
Swiss machining is a high precision process that allows for a more complex and detailed part than what we would expect from a traditional machine shop. Precision Swiss, an Abrasive Technology company, uses this highly specialized process to manufacture parts for a wide range of products to be used in wide range of fields.
An ideal candidate for this role is looking for an opportunity to learn, grow, and move forward with us.
What You'll Do:
- Operate and maintain a part washing machine.
- Remove oil, coolant, and particulates from finished products prior to final quality check.
- Assist with prep of materials prior to being used at the machines.
- Filter oil for reuse in Swiss machines.
- Clean chips by washing oil and particulates prior to scraping materials.
- Follow all company safety policies and practices.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Self-starter
The Physical Side:
- Ability toliftupto50pounds on a consistent basis.
- Stand for 4 hours a day.
- Willingness to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies.
