Grinding/Machine Technician

Grinding/Machine Technician - 2nd or 3rd shift available

$3.00 shift differential for 2nd & 3rd Shift

Are you an entry-level machinist who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and quality work? We’re looking for someone who feels at home in a machine shop environment and wants to grow their skills as part of a supportive, close‑knit team. In this role, you’ll contribute to producing high‑quality parts that meet exact specifications. You’ll use your hands-on abilities, attention to detail, and problem‑solving mindset to keep work moving smoothly and efficiently. If you enjoy working with your hands, troubleshooting challenges, and seeing the results of your expertise come to life, this could be an excellent fit.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot machinery when there is a process issue.
• Produce parts with hand tools to exact specifications. 
• Complete finishing operations and quality inspections for our products.
• Follow all company safety policies and practices.
• Read blueprints and perform set-ups

Required qualifications:

• Machine shop experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use basic inspection equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and help in other areas of production.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Team oriented and communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must be a motivated self-starter and be able to work independently.
• Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

 Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for 4 hours a day.
• Willingness to work around chemicals and use appropriate PPE.
