We’re looking for a dependable, motivated Residential Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you’re someone who takes ownership of your work and enjoys a variety of tasks every day, we’d love to meet you.
Our maintenance team services residential properties throughout the Southside of Hampton Roads. No two days are the same - you’ll troubleshoot issues, prepare homes for new residents, complete repairs, and help protect our clients’ investments.
What You’ll Do
- Complete residential maintenance work orders efficiently and professionally
- Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues
- Perform repairs including:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Drywall
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Appliance repairs
- General handyman work
- Complete property turns and make-ready projects
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and office staff
- Maintain accurate records of completed work
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in residential maintenance, property management, construction, or handyman services preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, HVAC basics, carpentry, and general home repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move maintenance equipment and materials
- Personal hand tools preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
