Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions and handle cash register operations
• Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise to enhance their shopping experience
• Upsell products by recommending additional items that meet customer needs, boosting sales opportunities
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and accurate cash handling procedures
• Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone

Requirements

• Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage confidently with customers and team members
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and balancing cash drawers accurately
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising practices to assist customers effectively
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods during shifts
