Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift

Apply today for this Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver role in the Columbus, WI areaLocation: Columbus, WIPay: $19.50/HourShift: Monday to Friday - 2:00pm - 10:00pmEssential Job Duties:Safe and efficient movement of materials to and from production and packaging lines, and in to warehouse storage area, correcting any damages that may occur in the put-away process.Accurately pick customer orders from picking list utilizing RF scanners.  Stack pallets using best practices to maximizing space and stability, while minimizing potential damages.Accurately stage orders in advance of customer arrival for loading.Efficiently and accurately load trucks according to shipping schedule, and in a manner that maximizes trailer capacity and stability, and minimizes in-transit damages.Safely and proficiently operate any/all assigned material handling equipment (stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, turret truck (Drexel), reach truck, pallet jacks, etc).Accurately complete all documentation (pick lists, bill of ladings, receiving documents).Insure department as a whole is kept clean and free from clutter.Complete pre-shift forklift inspections, and keep assigned equipment in good working order.  Report all damages to materials, property or equipment to Warehouse Lead / Warehouse Manager.Any other duties as required by the Warehouse Lead Operator / Warehouse ManagerPosition Physical Requirements:Lift up to 50# on a continuous basis, from floor level to top of pallet (up to 84”)Bend, Push/Pull, Squat, Reach, Grip, Grab, Hold various products, packaging and toolsPerform repetitive motions for assigned tasks.Sit or stand for duration of shift (other than departmental approved breaks)Ability to climb ladders and stairs.  Able to work at elevated levels if required.Able to work in various temperatures including extreme heat, humidity and cold.Able to work in environment containing dust and potential allergens, and smells.Able to perform basic visual requirements, read small print and differentiate colors.Excellent depth perception and judgement of distance, combined with hand-eye coordination.Understand and communicate basic verbal and written instructions and respond to questions.Accurately and quickly perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide)Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, plus overtime to meet department goalsRequirements:Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishMinimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
