As a Wireless Tower Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of wireless communication systems and related infrastructure.

What You'll Do
  • Travel to project sites throughout Southern California.
  • Install, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain wireless communication equipment.
  • Install antennas, radios, remote radio units (RRUs), hybrid and fiber cabling, mounts, and structural components.
  • Perform equipment swaps, upgrades, and new site builds.
  • Install and commission Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, and other carrier equipment as required.
  • Perform fiber optic installation, termination, cleaning, inspection, and testing.
  • Perform PIM testing, sweep testing, RET controller configuration, and site verification.
  • Assist with grounding, power systems, and equipment cabinet installation.
  • Read construction drawings, RFDS packages, and site documentation.
  • Safely climb communication towers, monopoles, rooftops, and other elevated structures.
  • Complete quality control inspections and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow all OSHA, carrier, and company safety requirements.
What You'll Need
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Previous wireless telecommunications experience preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb communication towers and work comfortably at heights.
  • Experience with:
  • Fiber optic installation and testing
  • Sweep testing
  • PIM testing
  • RET controller installation and troubleshooting
  • Antenna and radio installation
  • Coax and hybrid cable installation
  • Equipment cabinet installation
  • Grounding and bonding
  • Ability to read construction drawings and follow installation standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Work at heights for extended periods.
  • Climb ladders, towers, rooftops, and elevated structures.
  • Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Operate power tools and testing equipment.
  • Wear required PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, harness, gloves, and work boots.
  • Maintain awareness of crew members, equipment, and surrounding hazards to ensure a safe work environment.

Compensation

Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, certifications, and demonstrated skills.

  • Opportunities for advancement and increased compensation are available based on performance, training, and company needs.
