Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager to lead and oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of construction management - ensuring projects are planned correctly, delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining a strict quality standard. The ideal candidate will possess strong contractor and construction management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering excellence.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget parameters
- Develop detailed project schedules using Gantt Charts
- Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, preparing estimates, and controlling expenditures
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project progress updates
- Manage contracts, change orders, and vendor relationships
- Supervise construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met
- Lead project teams by assigning tasks, managing schedules, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on project delivery excellence
- Conduct regular site visits for progress inspections and quality assurance checks
Experience
- Proven experience managing residential construction projects and contractors with a strong track record of successful delivery
- Extensive knowledge of construction management
- Demonstrated expertise in scheduling, cost control, and project coordination
- Hands-on experience with managing teams of contractors on active construction sites while ensuring quality control
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in fast-paced environments
