Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Client Transporter to join our healthcare team. This role involves safely and efficiently transporting patients within hospital facilities or community settings, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients between departments, clinics, or community locations using appropriate equipment and protocols
• Assist patients with mobility needs, including transfers from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers
• Ensure patient comfort and dignity during transportation
• Follow all safety procedures and infection control protocols during transfers
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient status and transportation needs
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of transportation equipment and vehicles
• Document transportation activities accurately in accordance with hospital or agency policies

Experience

• Prior experience in home and community care or hospital settings is preferred
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is highly desirable
• Experience in patient care, including mobility assistance and comfort measures
• Background knowledge of hospital operations and critical care transport is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary for transportation duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
