NOW HIRING PART-TIME STUDENT TRANSPORTATION DRIVERS IN THE GREATER NEW HAVEN AREA.
Student Transportation Drivers are expected to transport students to and from school and other sites within designated route(s). Drivers are expected to ensure the safety of the student passengers in the vehicle. Drivers are also expected to ensure proper vehicle inspections/maintenance, observe safety and traffic rules, and maintain order among students while they are in the vehicle. To be a successful student driver you should enjoy working with children and strictly observe passenger transport regulations. Good verbal and written communication skills is a must. ******V Endorsed drivers are preferred and hired immediately pending an interview and background check. If you don't have a V endorsement but are eligible to obtain one you are still encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license with 3 years of a clean driving history.
- Be subject to a drug screening and able to pass DOT physical requirements to obtain and maintain a V endorsement through DMV.
