Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed
- Use commercial cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and cleaning solutions efficiently and safely
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are consistently maintained
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and support a clean, organized work environment
Education
- High School Diploma (required)
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles (highly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to office buildings, retail spaces, or industrial facilities
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift (required)
- Reliable transportation to assigned locations (required)
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices related to custodial work
