Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Behavior Analyst position based in Virginia, United States. The Behavior Analyst will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing behavior intervention strategies. They will provide guidance and training to families and caregivers, monitor clients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaboration with team members, caregivers, and educators is a key aspect of this role in order to support the continual social, academic, and behavioral development of clients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies, behavior assessment, and intervention strategy development
- Strong skills in supporting communication, social skills development, and managing challenging behaviors
- Ability to effectively collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation, data collection, and progress monitoring skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility to become certified
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
