CAREGIVER

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in NWA and River Valley. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting findings accurately
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards
• Document care activities, observations, and any incidents clearly and promptly in compliance with healthcare protocols

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care environments
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and memory care strategies
• Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certification preferred but not required
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or disabilities requiring specialized support
• Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, and vital signs monitoring
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts
