Directional Drill Operator/Locator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of heavy equipment (Directional drills, drill locators, vibratory plows, utility locators). This role is essential for executing drilling operations on construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency while adhering to project specifications. The Driller will work closely with other team members to facilitate smooth operations and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Duties

• Operate Directional drilling equipment (Drill locators), ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on drilling and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate drilling activities and maintain project timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while performing drilling tasks.

Requirements

• General knowledge and experience in telecommunications and underground utilities
• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license
• Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate horizontal drilling equipment effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.24 - $40.00 per hour
