aboutGOLF Global, Inc. is looking for an energetic Golf Simulator Traveling Installer. The Traveling Installation Technician is responsible for providing quality installation of our Indoor Golf Simulators, and being able to present yourself professionally in a high end environment. The technician will work closely with one of our Lead Installers on all Installations. Technicians will travel from site to site performing Installation of New Simulators, Service work on Existing Simulators, and conducting Proprietary Software Training for the end users. You will be responsible to keep work environments clean and comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions, balance multiple tasks and operate in an orderly manner. Preferred applicants are hard-working, focused and have outstanding problem-solving skills.
Simulator Installer Requirements
- Exceptional quality installation of aboutGOLF Golf Simulators
- Establish best practices and innovative concepts related to product installations
- Work directly with Director of Operations to understand and verify all project requirements and prerequisites prior to installation
- Establish positive relationships with clients and co-workers
- Provide simulator training client support in accordance with our current processes and procedures
General Requirements:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally; greater than 75% travel; potential night and weekend availability
- 18 years of age or older.
- Hold a valid Driver License.
- Strong organization, planning, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and residential home-owners
- Proficient in reading a measuring tape and excellent measuring skills
- Ability to read instructions, write reports, complete after-action forms
- Passion, drive, excellent work ethic, and ability to self-start without direct supervision
- Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
- Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
- Assist the operations team with additional tasks as requested
- Available to work extended hours.
Preferred Requirements
- Ability to use all needed hand tools, securing, and terminating wire/cables
- Good understanding of basic AV and PC components
- Ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams.
