Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What Youll Do
· Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
· Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
· Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
· Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
· Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
· Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
· Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed
· Complete documentation and maintaining schedules
· Complete ongoing training and professional development

Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Comfortable supporting shy individuals and building rapport
- Ability to drive for community outings (required)
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required we provide paid training and support.
