A Day in the Life: What You Will Do
As a DSP, you are the heart of our mission: empowering people. Your core responsibilities will include:
? Empowerment & Personal Care: Providing respectful, hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as personal hygiene, grooming, and mealtime support.
? Behavioral Support & Advocacy: Serving as a compassionate partner, providing positive behavioral support, following person-centered support plans, and assisting with de-escalation.
? Community & Integration: Being a bridge to the community. You'll support individuals with their goals, from transportation to appointments and hobbies to helping them thrive in community-based jobs.
? Health & Wellness: Supporting health and wellness by administering medications, assisting with mobility, and preparing nutritious meals.
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications)

What We Require (The Must-Haves):
? A compassionate, patient, and encouraging attitude
? 18 years old or older
? A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance
? A High School Diploma or GED
? Ability to pass a background check
What We Value (Our Ideal Candidate):

? Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a major plus.
? Experience supporting individuals with IDD, autism, or behavioral support needs is highly valued.
