Abound Health is hiring compassionate, reliable Group Home Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) at our North Group Home in West Middlesex, PA.
Full-Time and Part-Time Hours Available
About the Role
As a DSP, you will provide essential support within a group home setting, helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in others' lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support behavioral, social, and daily living skill development
- Assist with recreational and community activities
- Follow treatment plans and document progress
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Submit documentation and payroll on time
- Participate in ongoing training
- Assist with personal care needs as required
- Work independently and as part of a team within the group home environment
What We're Looking For
- Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Valid driver's license and active car insurance
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background checks
- Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed
Compensation
- $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Current Open Shifts
Morning Shifts
- Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:45 AM
- Monday & Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Afternoon & Evening Shifts
- Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Monday-Sunday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Multiple evening openings available throughout the week
Overnight Shifts
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - Sunday 7:00 AM
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
Experience
- 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Not required paid training provided
