Abound Health is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What Youll Do
As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence. Responsibilities include:
- Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
- Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
- Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
- Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
- Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
- Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external partners
- Complete documentation and maintain schedules
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Willingness to assist with personal care needs when necessary
- Ability to lift as required based on client needs
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required paid training is provided.
Pay & Signing Bonus
- Starting Pay: $20$25/hour
- Signing Bonus: $1,000 paid in 3 installments when averaging full-time hours
