Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are preparing to support a young woman in the New Tripoli, PA area who has both complex medical and behavioral needs. This is a rural location, and the ideal candidates will be younger, outgoing females with experience supporting individuals with behavioral and complex medical needs.
We are looking for either one full-time DSP to cover all five days or two part-time DSPs to split the MondayFriday schedule. If you are compassionate, reliable, and looking for meaningful work where you can make a real difference, we would love to meet you.

What Youll Do
As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence. Being a DSP is a rewarding experience you will genuinely make a difference in somebodys life. Responsibilities will include:
Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed
Complete documentation and maintain schedules
Complete ongoing training and professional development
Schedule
MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 3:00 PM (6 hours per day)
Staffing options:
One full-time DSP covering all 5 days
OR two part-time DSPs (one covering 2 days, the other covering 3 days)

Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Valid drivers license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
Lifting may be required, depending on client needs
Experience with behavioral and complex medical needs strongly preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required we provide paid training and support.
Pay
Starting Pay: $19.50$25.00/hour
