Abonmarche is seeking a Survey Field Technician Intern for the summer of 2026 in our Hobart, IN office.
Responsibilities:
· Assists Survey Crew Chief in performance of field work including, but not limited to, compiling field notes, making measurements and sketches, use of hand tools.
· Assists in operating survey instruments including GPS, Robotic and Conventional Total Stations, Digital and Auto Levels, and Data Collectors.
· Assists in performing basic math computations.
· Assists in keeping survey truck clean and stocked.
· Assists in maintaining survey equipment.
Qualifications:
· High School Graduate required.
· Ability to work in variable weather and site conditions
· Ability to carry equipment and walk over uneven terrain and through woods/brush
· Valid drivers license
