What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Carpenter/Crew Lead position at Abode Construction LLC?
Abode Construction
Lead Carpenter/Crew Lead
Location: Gaithersburg, MD (Projects across the Maryland & DC Metro area; local travel required)
Precision in the Field. Leadership on the Jobsite.
Abode Construction is a veteran-led design-build company known for disciplined execution, strong communication, and high standards of craftsmanship. The team works across custom homes, additions, renovations, and remodeling projects, bringing structure and professionalism to every phase of the build.
We are looking for a strong Lead Carpenter/Crew Lead who can take ownership in the field and help drive quality, pace, and accountability on residential projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can perform high-level carpentry work, direct labor on site, and keep projects moving with professionalism and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Abode is a strong fit for a field leader who values structure, accountability, and pride in the finished product. The company is building with a more disciplined process than the average residential contractor, and that creates a better environment for people who care about doing things the right way. If you want to help lead high-standard work in a growing company, this is a role with room to matter.
Abode Construction is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, genetic information, military status, or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
