Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers.
- Manage the design of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
- Oversee the preparation of electrical equipment specifications and construction cost estimates.
- Conduct and review electrical engineering studies and calculations.
- Develop and review schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, MCC single-line diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Ensure quality control through review of shop drawings and vendor documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Interpret P&IDs and general arrangement drawings.
- Support business development through proposal development, client meetings, and interviews.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- 10–15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA codes and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Delivering high-quality, code-compliant designs on time and within budget.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Developing team capabilities through mentorship and technical guidance.
- Driving innovation and efficiency in design and project execution.
