Responsibilities

• Safely operate light-duty tow trucks, including flatbed models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles with precision using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches.
• Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively to ensure positive interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving and performing recovery tasks to ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle details for record-keeping purposes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred; must have a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or diagnostics.
• Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles safely using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally.
