ABMC Janitorial Inc. is seeking permanent dedicated part time weekend only Floor Care Technicians to help maintain a clean, safe welcoming environment for our client in Philadelphia on Spring Garden Street. This position involves working only on weekends focusing on floor care. The role has a pay rate of $17.79 per hour working every Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 1pm.
Responsibilities for Floor Technician:
- Perform proper floor care procedures.
- Operate industrial floor care equipment safely and effectively to clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces.
- Manage chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for handling, storage, and disposal of floor cleaning chemicals.
- Follow instructions provided by Manager to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications for Floor Technicians:
- 3 years of experience as a Floor Technician or Floor Care Specialist.
- Expert knowledge of stripping/waxing, scrubbing and buffing floors.
- Must be able to bend and squat and clean baseboards removing old wax build up.
- Please provide a written resume including your work history as a Floor Care Technician Specialist. If you are currently working for a janitorial contractor we cannot hire you it is a conflict of interest for our company.
- Proficient with commercial floor care machinery and chemicals.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use appropriate precautions due to physical and environmental risks.
- Ability to do heavy lifting.
Pay: $17.79 per hour
