ABM is seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchasing and Order Managerment Lead to manage material purchasing, vendor coordination, and delivery tracking. This role is essential to ensuring that long‑lead and critical‑path materials are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time to support electrical installation activities in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment. The Purchasing and Order Management Lead will work closely with project leadership, logistics, and field teams to maintain material readiness and prevent schedule delays
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in procurement, expediting, or material management in construction or industrial environments
- Experience with electrical materials and semiconductor or cleanroom projects preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work directly with vendors and manufacturers
- Proficiency in reading BOMs, BOQs, and construction drawings
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Experience with procurement software, spreadsheets, and tracking tools
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and long‑lead items required for tool installation
- Track all purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor commitments to ensure timely arrival of materials
- Expedite delayed or at‑risk orders by coordinating directly with vendors, manufacturers, and distributors
- Maintain accurate procurement logs, delivery trackers, and material status reports for project leadership
- Review BOMs, BOQs, drawings, and RFIs to verify material requirements before purchasing
- Communicate daily with vendors to confirm lead times, resolve discrepancies, and secure updated delivery confirmations
- Work closely with the Logistics Lead to ensure materials are received, inspected, and staged correctly
- Escalate critical material shortages or vendor issues to project management and Samsung representatives
- Identify alternative materials or suppliers when needed to support schedule continuity
- Support cost control by monitoring pricing, preventing duplicate orders, and validating invoices
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with ABM and Samsung standards, processes, and documentation requirements
