We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented On-Call Cleaner to support our healthcare facility’s commitment to cleanliness, safety, and infection control. This role is critical in maintaining a sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors, especially during high-demand periods or in response to urgent cleaning needs.
Pay: $25.36 an hour

NOTE: This position is On-Call, meaning there is no predetermined schedule or guaranteed hours. Shifts are offered based on business needs, depending on coverage requirements, and as needed to cover absenses for other employees.

Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, exam rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other clinical and non-clinical spaces.
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests, including biohazard spills and terminal cleaning.
- Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols, including proper use of PPE and hospital-grade disinfectants.
- Safely handle and dispose of medical and general waste.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and sanitizers.
- Document tasks completed and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure cleaning needs are met efficiently and respectfully.
