TEMPLE CLEANER- This position is for custodial services at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment for this specific position. • Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
- Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
- Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
- Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- A cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
- Clean and maintain building interiors, including floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, walls, and glass surfaces
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using appropriate tools and equipment
- Properly use and handle chemical cleaners and cleaning solutions according to established procedures
- Dust furniture, walls, light fixtures, and other surfaces
- Clean and service restrooms, including restocking supplies
- Collect and dispose of trash and waste materials
- Clean and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and common-use areas
- Maintain janitorial closets in a neat and orderly condition and ensure equipment is in good order
- Request and maintain adequate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Notify supervisors or management of maintenance needs, safety concerns, or repair issues
- Maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
