The Janitorial Project Manager is responsible for overseeing custodial and janitorial operations within educational facilities (schools, colleges, or universities). Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars) DOE
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for school administrators and district officials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and contract compliance.
Operational Oversight:
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules tailored to school operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance checks.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise janitorial staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and enforce company policies.
- Provide ongoing training on safety and cleaning standards.
Financial & Administrative Management:
- Manage budgets, invoices, and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to school district policies, state regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in janitorial or facilities management, preferably in education.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
