Role Description
Ables, Inc. is seeking a dedicated full-time Estimator for our on-site location in Zanesville, OH. The Estimator's daily responsibilities include preparing cost estimates for electrical and HVAC projects, analyzing project plans and specifications, collaborating with project managers and clients, and ensuring accurate materials and labor calculations. This role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and contributing to successful project planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimation, including analyzing project requirements and detailed material takeoffs
- Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems, construction methodologies, and industry standards
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools, as well as experience with data analysis
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, teams, and clients
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards in construction and HVAC projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Relevant work experience in estimating for electrical or HVAC projects is a plus
