We are seeking a dependable, organized Part-Time Project Manager to support a commercial historical restoration project in Boise, Idaho. This role will serve as the primary on-site point of coordination between field crews, the off-site project team, and the client.
The Project Manager will visit the job site regularly, document progress, track labor and schedule status, and provide clear updates to the broader project team. This is a hands-on coordination role well suited for someone with construction, project management, superintendent, or field coordination experience.
Key Responsibilities- Visit the project site for approximately 1–2 hours per day or every other day, depending on project needs.
- Take photos of work in progress and document notable site developments.
- Provide brief daily project updates and more comprehensive weekly progress reports.
- Serve as the communication liaison between field personnel, the off-site project team, and the client.
- Participate in approximately three 1-hour Microsoft Teams meetings per week, including screen sharing and project reviews.
- Track labor hours, construction progress, milestones, and overall project schedule.
- Identify delays, coordination issues, or potential concerns and communicate them promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of site activity, photos, progress updates, and project status.
- Help ensure field activities remain aligned with project priorities and schedule expectations.
- Previous experience in construction project management, field coordination, superintendent support, or a related role preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable coordinating between field crews, clients, and remote project teams.
- Ability to independently monitor project progress and provide concise, accurate updates.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and basic digital project-tracking tools.
- Ability to travel to the Boise job site regularly.
- Historical restoration or commercial construction experience is a plus.
This is a part-time, flexible position. Site visits are expected to average approximately 1–2 hours per day or occur every other day based on project activity. Additional time will be required for reporting, project tracking, and three recurring Teams meetings each week.
Salary : $30 - $35
