Job Summary:

Store Managers are responsible for ensuring that the highest level of customer service is being applied. Store Managers models AbleLight's mission, vision, and values while effectively problem-solving, making informed decisions, managing the workforce, and achieving maximum results.

· Models promote AbleLight's mission, vision, and core values to ensure the highest level of customer service is met.

· Recruits, hires, and orients of the most qualified applicants and volunteers to meet the store's needs.

· Trains, coaches, and management of all associates in execution of daily responsibilities to maximize store sales and profits.

· Oversee the design and preparation of merchandise placements and displays.

· Implements and maintain operating procedures accurately to attain maximum productivity and quality.

· Reviews operational reports and records to ensure adherence to AbleLight's policies and procedures; monitors store profitability and manages budgets.

· Reviews paperwork pertaining to receiving transfers in order to ensure accuracy of inventory.

· Ensures that proper communication channels exist between the store and the corporate office.

· Oversees compliance of Store Associates and volunteers with established policies and procedures, such as safe keeping of

Company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales, and record keeping procedures, and overall production and maintenance of the facility.

· Resolves employees, volunteers, donors, and customer opportunities that affect the store's service, efficiency, and productivity; seek appropriate guidance and resources as needed.

· Ensures that adequate security exists, and that physical facilities comply with federal, state, and local safety codes and ordinances.

· Partners with regional management identify vocational opportunities in retail for the people we support.

· Multi-tasking. Ability to oversee all employees and volunteers effectively prioritizing multiple projects. Leading the team vs immersing into the day-to-day workload, losing sight of a big picture.

· Effective Coaching. Assist team in setting meaningful goals and identifying specific behaviors /steps for meeting them. Help clarify measures of success and hold team accountable on a consistent basis.

· Decision-making/Ambiguity. Effectively manage change and lead team with a decisive approach. Can operate in a non-traditional retail environment.

· Motivation. Empower others. Creates an environment of teamwork where everyone’s contribution is important. Recognize goals and accomplishments individually and with the entire team.

· Organizational skills. Understanding business models and the most efficient ways to maximize productivity and streamline processes. Effective communication. Ability to not only communicate specifically one on one but also truly listen to those around them. Listens effectivelyand asks questions in order to identify and achieve shared objectives

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education: Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Experience: Minimum of two years’ retail management experience, including one year of leadership experience. Must be proficient with MS Office Software

Pay: Between $20-$25
