Able to Serve is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to equipping adults with disabilities to grow in independence and connect with opportunities to serve others in their community. We are seeking a passionate and strategic Development Manager to lead and grow our fundraising efforts during an exciting season of expansion.
About the Role
This leadership position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our mission and long-term sustainability. The Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and Board to strengthen donor relationships and expand our community of support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all fundraising efforts, including annual giving, major gifts, events, sponsorships, and grants
- Cultivate and steward relationships with individual, corporate, church, and foundation donors
- Support and help manage a capital campaign for a new facility
- Oversee donor database (DonorPerfect) and track engagement and performance
- Collaborate on donor communications and fundraising materials
- Provide development updates and support to Board members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
- 3-5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience
- Proven success in donor cultivation and fundraising strategy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with donor management systems (DonorPerfect preferred)
- Passion for mission-driven, faith-based work

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
