Job Summary
We’re seeking a motivated, highly organized Assistant Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and ensure efficient store management across locations. The role includes sales, customer service, administrative work, property management, and local marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
- Execute local marketing to attract new customers and increase occupancy.
- Partner with management to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Operations & Property Management
- Run daily store operations and uphold site cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and curb appeal.
- Monitor inventory and ensure supplies are stocked.
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional service and a smooth rental/move-in experience.
- Handle inquiries, reservations, and issue resolution professionally.
Cash Handling & Reporting
- Collect rents and issue receipts; balance cash drawer daily.
- Prepare and process bank deposits accurately and on time.
Administrative & Compliance
- Keep accurate records and store documentation per company SOPs.
- Follow the Operations Manual and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Weekend availability; reliable and professional.
- Cash-handling/point-of-sale experience.
- Valid U.S. work authorization.
- Ability to work at all company locations as needed (floating coverage).
- Strong customer-service experience and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management in a fast-paced setting.
- High energy, integrity, and a team-focused mindset.
- Ability to learn software quickly and follow the Operations Manual.
Preferred
- Self-storage or property-management experience.
- Bachelor degree in business management.
- Familiarity with SiteLink (tenant management), StorLogix (access control), and Google Workspace.
- Experience in sales, store management, and/or local marketing.
Physical/Work Environment (typical for storage operations)
- Stand/walk for extended periods; climb stairs; lift/carry up to ~35–40 lbs.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
