The Shipping and Receiving Specialist assists with incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring items are properly handled, organized, and documented. This role supports overall efficiency, accuracy, and safety within the operation.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and packages
- Organize, stage, and store products in designated areas
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment
- Use basic scanning or inventory systems to track shipments
- Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and loading preparation
- Verify quantities and report discrepancies or damages
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications / Requirements / Skills
- Experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or logistics environment
