Able & Ready Construction is a residential construction and remodeling company based in Prescott Valley, AZ. We're looking for a Construction Manager to run the organizational and administrative side of our projects. This is an office-based role, not a jobsite position, but it requires real, hands-on construction knowledge to do well.
What you'll do
- Keep every active project organized and on track behind the scenes: schedules, documentation, and job status
- Manage and update our project tracking tools (Trello, Workyard) so nothing falls through the cracks
- Coordinate between crews, subcontractors, clients, and ownership to keep information flowing and timelines accurate
- Review job progress, contracts, and paperwork with a construction-savvy eye
- Handle scheduling, estimates, and job documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Flag issues or delays early based on your understanding of how construction projects actually run
What we're looking for
- Solid background in construction (as a superintendent, project manager, estimator, or similar), even though this role itself is office-based
- Highly organized with strong follow-through; comfortable being the person who keeps everything on the rails
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning/using scheduling and project management software daily
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Able to work independently and keep multiple projects moving at once
