Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based in Dickinson, ND. The Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, monitoring health status, and implementing care plans for individuals supported by ABLE Inc. The role includes collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners to coordinate services and ensure person-centered care. The Registered Nurse will educate individuals and staff on health, safety, and wellness, maintain accurate documentation, and support compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The position also involves participating in quality improvement activities and responding to health-related concerns in a timely, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Dakota and current BLS/CPR certification.
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and health monitoring.
- Experience or interest in working with individuals with diverse abilities in home, work, and community settings.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills for working with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records, follow regulatory requirements, and support quality and safety initiatives.
- Capacity to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and respond calmly in urgent or emergent situations.
- Familiarity with person-centered care principles and commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and inclusion.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; previous experience in community-based or long-term care settings is beneficial.
