Overview
We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead a team of BIM Coordinators and support our Low Voltage Construction team. In this role, you will develop high-quality, data-enriched models for both new construction and renovation projects. You will focus on low voltage systems—including structured cabling, low voltage pathway systems, and communications room elevations—ensuring accurate coordination and constructability across project teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D models using Revit, Navisworks, and BlueBeam.
- Model and coordinate low voltage systems (including structured cabling) per contract documents, BICSI, and NECstandards.
- Work under the direction of the Project Manager and Project Supervisor to support project milestones.
- Perform clash detection in Navisworks and coordinate resolutions across multiple trades.
- Follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and all established project workflows.
- Assist in improving BIM standards, templates, and modeling practices.
- Participate in on-site job walks and field visits to verify constructability and confirm that BIM models reflect actual site conditions.
- Collaborate with field teams and project supervisors to validate design intent and resolve discrepancies in real time.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of BIM coordination experience focused on electrical or low voltage systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BlueBeam.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD as a supplemental tool (not required as a primary platform).
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and modeling standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- MUST have strong understanding of Pathway systems
