Merchandiser / Maintenance Technician

This is a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM position, with occasional schedule flexibility based on business needs.
Position Summary
This hybrid role combines merchandising support with light equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team and customers to optimize product displays while also supporting the installation, upkeep, and maintenance of company equipment.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Merchandise products to maximize customer interest and sales
- Develop and implement store layout plans (planograms)
- Build strong relationships with store owners and customers
- Train and support store staff on product display and rotation
- Ensure proper product stocking levels and assortment
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and customers to execute merchandising plans
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner
- Bench test new equipment prior to installation
- Install, remove, or swap out equipment as needed
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs
- Provide ongoing support for all company-placed equipment
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and commitment to quality
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience with planograms or retail store setups preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
