Assistant Community Manager

ABL’s Assistant Community Managers are skilled professionals who assist ABL Community Managers in providing excellent customer service to current and prospective residents. Their responsibilities include:
- Marketing and Leasing - Develop and execute marketing plans and meet with prospective tenants to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, and provide information about local areas.
- Property Management – Assist Community Managers with renting, retention and renewals to attain goal of 100% occupancy for assigned property
- Service Operations -- Provide outstanding customer service to residents and prospective residents to support the property standards, reputation and growth of our business
- Team Participation – Meet in daily huddles with site’s office and maintenance coworkers to review priorities for the property, report on daily progress, and plan future work
- Community Maintenance –Walk grounds and inspect units daily to note or perform tasks needed to assure property is well-maintained and appealing to residents and visitors
- Business Administration - Work with Community Managers at assigned sites and ABL corporate office staff to assure effective and efficient Company-wide operations
To be considered for this position, applicants will need:
- Two years of successful residential property management experience
- HS education or equivalent required, some college preferred
- Expertise in marketing research, promotions and leasing activities
- Proven customer focus and expert service to work well with a diverse population
- Working knowledge of FEHA, leasing, residential services, and property office administrative tasks and operations
- Demonstrated digital and data entry skills; MS office required and Yardi, OnSite and/or similar property management software experience preferred
- Ability to contribute to teamwork among office and maintenance coworkers and skills to cultivate staff co-operation, customer service and productivity
- Willingness to work weekends and to rove among ABL’ s properties as needed

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
