Responsibilities
- Provide technical review.
- Help clients prepare and file tax returns, manage tax audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Develop and maintain tax plans, compliance procedures and risk assessment frameworks, to ensure effective tax management.
- Facilitate delivery of effective approaches to our clients’ tax needs.
- Maintain and develop client relationships and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
- Build and lead multiple engagement teams effectively to consistently meet ABIP standards of excellence.
- Identifying, tracking and reporting any potential financial risks or issues and working closely with the accounting teams to implement appropriate solutions.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of taxes to provide expert advice on tax planning.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions and other tax-related activities.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business discipline
- Minimum of six (6) years Tax experience in a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience
- US CPA certification required
