What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for the daily care, supervision, and education of children while adhering to all licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Plan and Implement Curriculum: Develop and facilitate hands-on, play-based learning activities and lesson plans appropriate for Toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten, and/or School-Age groups.
- Child Care and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all children, including supervision, diaper changing (as needed), and following all state standards and health guidelines.
- Maintain the Classroom: Keep a clean, organized, and interactive learning environment.
- Parent Communication: Communicate effectively and directly with parents/guarding regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and overall success.
What You'll Bring: Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are as passionate about early childhood development as we are and have a proven track record of caring and nurturing children.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility (or a minimum of 6 months if paired with a degree).
- Education: Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree/Certification: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development, OR a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- Skills: Proven ability to create effective lesson plans and activities.
- Flexibility: Adaptability regarding work hours and schedule.
