Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacists, assist in the preparation and filling of the medication carts, perform critical pharmacy calculations, compound non-sterile preparations using pharmaceutical technique, and utilize various computerized programs and technical equipment for the various functions listed above. Perform medication distribution to our patients, restock and reorder necessary pharmacy inventory, and satisfactorily pass required hospital and government validation examinations. Reports to the Manager of Pharmacy Services.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CPhT required.
- Working knowledge of metric system conversions and calculation of ratio and proportions.
