Responsibilities

- Track costs associated with parts used within work orders
- Utilize and be proficient with SAP and/or related system
- Organize parts cage, eliminating unnecessary components and procuring needed items
- Maintain appropriate inventory of items used and restock supplies, as needed
- Manage the purchase orders and procurement of parts via the Maintenance Parts Procurement personnel.
- Respond to requestor and supplier inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations
- Contact suppliers in order to expedite deliveries and resolve problems encountered such as shortages, missed or late deliveries
- Track status of requisitions, purchase orders, vendor service calls and receiving documents
- Maintain records of purchase orders and receiving documents to verify invoices for payment
- Maintain manuals and reference materials for use in the maintenance department
- Manage supplier performance including issue resolution such as settling damage claims, rejections, losses and return of materials or cancellations

- Technical or vocational degree in a related field is preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- 1-3 years of related experience is required.
- SAP experience is strongly preferred.
- Must be proficient using computer applications, spreadsheets, e-mail.
