Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves developing training programs, delivering engaging sessions, and ensuring that participants gain the skills necessary for personal and professional growth. The trainer will also be responsible for monitoring individuals currently employed.
Duties
- Design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Mentor participants through hands-on activities, providing guidance and support to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with other professionals to assess training needs and develop effective strategies for workforce development.
- Facilitate interviews and recruitment processes to identify potential candidates for various job opportunities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Meet individuals at their work assignments and provide on the job support.
- Maintain accurate records of participant progress and provide reports as needed.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Skills in interviewing, mentoring, recruiting, and training & development are highly desirable.
