What are the responsibilities and job description for the Open Interviews for Direct Support Professionals (Every Wednesday from 9am-4pm) position at Ability Matters?
We here at Ability Matters are looking for more passionate and caring individuals to come join our team of DSPs! We will be holding open interviews every Wednesday at our office in Dublin at 425 Metro Place North, Dublin, OH 43017 in Suite 100.

What You'll Do:
You will help individuals with disabilities live fulfilling lives. You will make a difference, get involved around Columbus, the nation, and even travel the world!
Personalized Care and Support. Provide care that focuses on each individuals needs. Encourage independence and inclusion.
Community Integration. Help individuals in being active and involved in their community.
Empowerment Through Skill Development. Support learning in life skills, communication, and confidence building.
Behavioral Support with Dignity. Use positive behavior strategies that show respect and care. Respond to challenges with empathy and support.
Be an Advocate. Support the rights, choices, and voices of individuals. Encourage independence and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education: 2-year degree preferred.
Passion for Inclusion. You believe in supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting community inclusion.
Experience. Previous experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, and flexibility to support individual needs.
Other Requirements. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proficiency in English.
