Experience and Education Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a human service field, or a Degree in a non-human service related field with 24 minimum upper division semester credits in a human services field
- Verifiable proof of paid, supervised experience providing services to a child or adolescent with a developmental disability for a minimum of 1,040 hours (Bachelor's level) or 1500 (Master's level)
- Complete 40 hour RBT training in ABA (provided by the agency) OR, hold a current certificate in Habilitative Intervention (HI)
- Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and car insurance
- Must provide or obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience with Behavioral Intervention
- Some Knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, supervise, train and QA HCBS settings standards, qualities, and safeguards to comply with regulations.
- This type of provider can deliver all types of children's habilitation intervention services and complete assessments and implementation plans
- Provide supervision on a monthly basis, or more often as necessary, to ensure the intervention specialist demonstrates the necessary skills to correctly provide the service.
- Provide general ongoing supervision of each of the staff including personnel files, documentation, and support.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in the Quality Assurance of service performed by each of the services.
- Conduct regular reviews to assure quality and completeness (this includes observation, files, review of paperwork prior to implementation, etc.
- Review data and documentation
- Recommend adjustments to services and formally complete them
- Provide training as qualified and directed
- Write objectives and assessments
- Consult with individuals, parents, advocates, employees, etc., on a periodic basis to assure satisfaction with ABILITY INTERVENTIONS, LLC. services.
- Provide feedback to the Administrator on an ongoing basis of any information / issues which may affect the quality of the services offered by ABILITY INTERVENTIONS, LLC.
- Monitor services to assure they meet regulatory requirements as per state of Idaho code.
- Review documentation for accuracy and accurate billing.
- Complete monthly observations of staff
- Maintain files and employee files as designated.
- Other duties as assigned in DDA regulations. Consult the regulations for more information.
