We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated MALE Home Health Aide to work 10 am- 3 pm with a client Monday - Friday in Noblesville, IN to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with memory care needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Monitor and document patient care activities and changes in health status in medical records.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist clients in engaging in daily activities and social interactions to enhance their well-being.
- Medication reminders.
Skills
- Experience in home care or caregiving is preferred, with a strong understanding of patient care principles.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and the ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and maintaining accurate documentation of client progress.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry tasks.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
